Rhonna found her path to Applied Behavior Analysis through her personal experience as a parent. While seeking an autism diagnosis for her own child, she observed Registered Behavior Technicians supporting a child during a clinic visit, an experience that inspired her to change careers. She became an RBT and quickly began coursework toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Before entering the ABA field, Rhonna spent 15 years as a Certified Child Life Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s, Akron Children’s, and University Hospital of Cleveland. This work provided a strong foundation in supporting children and families and continues to influence her passion for helping individuals on the autism spectrum navigate healthcare experiences. Rhonna has worked in home, public and private school, daycare, and clinic settings, supporting clients from toddlers through teenagers across the autism spectrum. Her areas of interest include early intervention, public school support, parent education around ETRs and IEPs, and guiding teens with autism through puberty. She is especially passionate about empowering parents with the skills and understanding needed to support their child’s long-term growth. At Building Blocks Therapy, Rhonna values the strong core values, collaborative team culture, and the joy that is woven into daily work.
